Bill is one of the people in this world that everyone is drawn to for conversation and for help and I am no exception.  Bill is an amazingly giving and loving person, especially with kids.  Seeing him with our niece and nephew or with our friends’ children reminds me just how sweet and caring he can be.  As an architect, Bill designs amazing schools and civic buildings.  Bill is extremely artistic and creative – qualities that he shares with the rest of his family.  While he is a sensitive guy, I can’t wait to see him sitting with our son or daughter in the stands of a stadium, rooting for one of his favorite teams.  Bill is going to be an amazing dad, able to nurture both the artistic side and athletic side of our child.

Eric is a teacher in every sense of the word.  Eric inspires everyone, especially me, to ask questions about the world around them.  He is the “answer man” for our niece, nephew and cousins, plainly explaining “why some bees sting while others do not” and “where stars come from”. As a teacher, he brings this same motivation to his students and their families.  His work with inner city youth groups keeps him integrally involved in our community.  I know Eric will be an amazing dad, inspiring our new family every day, filling them with discovery.

We love exploring cities, working on our home and garden, playing sports and spending time with friends.  We are excited to have a child to join us for our favorite activities like exploring the California wilderness, traveling to new and interesting places and celebrating holidays and birthdays with our family and friends.
